Big Morning Breeze, Fickle Afternoon At Santander 2014 ISAF Worlds - Latest news: "Gusts of up to 30 knots were reported across the race track early on in the day and with an 11:00 local time start some of the fleets took to the water. As the day progressed the breeze began to decrease significantly across the race tracks but all fleets, apart from the Nacra 17, were able to get racing in."

Emirates Team New Zealand--ENTZ--won Act 6 of the Extreme Sailing Series in Istanbul. After a tight battle all week with The Wave Muscat for the top spot it came down to the final double points race. Dean Barker and his crew nailed the start and sailed away to win the regatta by 6 points.

"Because of climate change, we can do this race," Molnar told CNN. He pictures oceangoing sailboats hugging the Atlantic coast up through Halifax to western Greenland, then heading west through the Northwest Passage to Tuktoyaktuk on Canada's Arctic coastline, before rounding Alaska to Dutch Harbor and, at last, Victoria. In 2017, Molnar plans to make this a reality in the form of the Sailing the Arctic Race, or STAR. "The Arctic is the big attraction. There is a romanticism about it," says the 66-year-old, who spent decades working in advertising while nursing his passion for sailing..."
