Lending Club 2 breaks world record - Hawaii News - Honolulu Star-Advertiser"The 105-foot Lending Club 2 trimaran set a world record of three days and 18 hours from Los Angeles to Honolulu on Sunday. Co-skippers Renaud Laplanche and Ryan Breymaier sailed across the Diamond Head finish line at 6:44 a.m., and beat the 2005 record time by more than 24 hours..."

As the lead group that started nearly a week ago continue their speedy progress towards Hawaii, the influence of the tropical depression Delores is being felt by the trailing two groups that started on Thursday and Saturday in the 48th edition of the LA-Honolulu Transpac. This has resulted in very distinct weather conditions for each of the groups on the course ..."

Lending Club 2 - Cowes to Dinard World Speed Sailing Record - Published on Apr 8, 2015
Renaud Laplanche and co-skipper Ryan Breymaier established a new world speed sailing record across the English Channel from the Royal Yacht Squadron Cowes, Isle of Wight to Dinard, France in 5 hours, 15 minutes and 7 seconds aboard their 105-foot offshore trimaran "Lending Club 2" at an average speed of 26.36 knots.
