Adventures of the 2014 DelMarVa Rally | Sail Magazine: "... a 450-mile week-long trip held annually in June that takes sailors of all experience levels around the DelMarVa Peninsula (that’s short for Delaware/Maryland/Virginia) from Annapolis, MD, to Portsmouth, VA, up the Atlantic to Cape May, DE, and back to Annapolis through the C&D Canal. Each leg provides a unique sailing experience: first sailors take on the Chesapeake, then head offshore and finish the rally by motoring through a narrow canal. New sailing centre in honor of Andrew "Bart" Simpson (video)

A new sailing centre will be set up in Dorset in honor of Andrew Simpson, the Olympic gold medalist who died while training for the Americas Cup.

Sailing centre to open in memory of Andrew Simpson | Blackmore Vale Magazine: ".... The ASSF was founded by Sir Ben Ainslie, Iain Percy OBE and Andrew’s wife Leah to honour his life and legacy. The Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy, based in Andrew’s home county of Dorset, will act as a hub for all of the Andrew Simpson Sailing Foundation’s activities, helping the Foundation fulfil its charitable objectives. The RYA accredited Centre will open in May and offer a range of sailing courses for young people, community organisations and adults; including programmes for schools, as well as club sailors....."
