As we get ready for an incredible summer of racing in Bermuda, we spoke with locals about their favorite things about the island. Top of the list was the beautiful beaches, gorgeous blue water and hospitality of Bermudian people.

The 35th America's Cup will be raced in Bermuda in June, 2017, schedule:

• Louis Vuitton America’s Cup Qualifiers & Challenger Playoffs 26th May – 12th June 2017
• Red Bull Youth America’s Cup Finals: 20-21st June 2017
• America’s Cup Match presented by Louis Vuitton: 17-18th & 24-27th June 2017 

The America's Cup is without a doubt the most difficult trophy in sport to win. In the more than 150 years since the first race off England, only four nations have won the "oldest trophy in international sport.

Race 12 in the Clipper 2015-16 Round the World Yacht Race, The LegenDerry Finale, was the last tough ocean crossing from New York to Derry-Londonderry: 'The Journey Home' captures the battle between Derry~Londonderry~Doire and LMAX Exchange. The Northern Irish team are looking for a win into their home port - they give it everything. This short video filmed and edited by on-board TV documentary maker Rich Edwards of 1080 Media TV.
