The anticipation that has been building around the first Act of the 2014 Extreme Sailing Series™ - dubbed by many sailing fans and the media as the sailing series to watch this season -- will come to a head as the first starting gun is fired, starting four days of Stadium Racing on Singapore's world-famous Marina Bay, 20th-23rd February. In 2014, the pioneering Stadium Racing circuit will once again be supported by Series Main Partner Land Rover, as it continues to deliver high-octane Stadium Racing at eight iconic locations around the world. The blue sails of GAC Pindar are a regular on the Extreme Sailing Series, but this year the Extreme 40 has a brand new crew led by 22 year old Kiwi Will Tiller. The current ISAF Match Racing world number five ranked sailor talks to us about his Extreme 40 baptism of fire and the challenges they face not only this Series, but here on Marina Bay in Singapore for Act 2 as the team eye their first podium position.

Extreme Sailing Series heads to the Far East for Act 2, Singapore, April 11-14 (video above) - The high-rise and cosmopolitan city of Singapore is getting into gear to host to Act 2 of the 2013 Extreme Sailing Series™ in just one week. It's not the first time the Extreme 40s have raced in Singapore but this iconic city is now a regular fixture on the global, 8-stop tour for the next three years supported by Local Partner Aberdeen Asset Management, the Singapore Sports Council and the Singapore Sailing Federation. Eight international teams with 28 World Championship titles, 20 Olympic campaigns and 25 America's Cups between them will line up on the 11th April for four days of intense stadium racing on Marina Bay Reservoir, including local heroes Scott Glen Sydney and Justin Wong and their home nation invitational entry, Team Aberdeen Singapore.
