44Cup Porto Montenegro, 10-14 Apr 2019, LIVE Feed

Day 4 44Cup Porto Montenegro - Team CEEREF claims golden wheels in Montenegro

The Bay of Tivat came good for the final day of the 44Cup Porto Montenegro with three races held and a most worthy winner in Igor Lah’s Team CEEREF. The Slovenian team led this first event of the 2019 44 Cup from the outset. Today neither they nor Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika won a race, but showed impeccable consistency, both enjoying a trio of podium place results, elevating Team Nika from fourth to second overall. Video above published Apr 13, 2019.

Day 3 44Cup Porto Montenegro - Team Nika wins penultimate day

44Cup video published Apr 12, 2019: Dramatic cloud formations over the mountains surrounding the Bay of Tivat and an overcast sky suggested that 44Cup Porto Montenegro competitors would be in for another day of adrenalin-filled competition in winds in the high teens. In the event the wind started dropping almost the moment the timing for the sequence was announced.

Day 2 44Cup Porto Montenegro - Team Aqua top scorer

44Cup video above published Apr 11, 2019: While the sun was out and the rain held off, Porto Montenegro presented a challenging second day of 44Cup racing with conditions starting off in 10 knots and building to 20 by the close of play this afternoon. A light patch around the committee boat helped create nail-biting photo finishes in two of today's three races.

Introducing the 44Cup f/k/a RC Championship Tour (video)

Introducing the 44Cup

For its thirteenth season, the RC44 Championship Tour has been given a makeover and has been rechristened the 44Cup with a more modern logo in carbon black and neon yellow. "Rebranding is a standard marketing procedure in the corporate world," says Chris Bake, who has campaigned Team Aqua continuously from the very dawn of the circuit. "The 44Cup continues to provide the most exciting, rewarding and cost effective owner-driver one design racing there is, but, after 13 years, we felt it was time to give the brand a cleaner and bolder line - a positive fresh statement. It feels to me that the circuit is getting a second lease of life." The 2019 44Cup: the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high-performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.

Day 4 RC44 Cascais Cup - Charisma claims Cascais and Championship

RC44 Class Association video above published Nov 18, 2018: After day one here in Cascais, Nico Poons' Charisma was dead last having posted a 7-8. Even newcomer to the fleet, Paulo Mirpuri and his Mirpuri Foundation, enjoying his first ever day racing in the RC44 fleet, were ahead. A 2-2-6-1 on day two saw the Monaco-based Dutchman's team fight back to fourth place, still nine points from the lead. Yesterday, a welcome continuation of their winning streak saw them win both races in big winds and giant seas, coinciding with a most unfortunate day for day two's leader, Team Nika. This propelled Charisma into the lead.

Final overall standings:
No racing on the final day left Charisma hitting the jackpot, winning the RC44 Cascais Cup, with a three point advantage over Chris Bake's Team Aqua, second on countback to Igor Lah's Team CEEREF. Charisma also overhauled both Team Nika and Team CEEREF to claim the annual RC44 Championship for the first time. The RC44 Cascais Cup is the final event of the 2018 RC44 Championship Tour which pits the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high-performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.

Day 3 RC44 Cascais Cup 2018 - Charisma cleans up in big conditions Cascais

RC44 Class Association video above published Nov 17, 2018: The dramatically different conditions on day three of the RC44 Cascais Cup saw some teams come to the fore today, perhaps better suited to the severe conditions, none more so than Nico Poons' Charisma. The Monaco-based Dutchman had won yesterday's final race and continued his winning streak today to claim bullets in both of the two races held. In comparison yesterday's runaway leader, Vladimir Prosikhin's Team Nika, had a day they'd rather forget, posting a disappointing 6-8, the latter following some leeward gate spinnaker trawling. The end result going into the final day of the RC44 Cascais Cup, and of the 2018 season, is that Charisma has streaked into the lead, three points ahead of Chris Bake's Team Aqua.

RC44 Class Association video above published Nov 16, 2018: Beautiful drone shots from day two in Cascais from our team at Icarus Sports shows just how close the racing is for the teams competing in the RC44 final.

The final event of the 2018 RC44 Championship Tour is being hosted in Cascais, Portugal, 14th -18th November, 2018, taking on the oceanic conditions and big breeze that makes this sunny spot in southern Europe a favourite with all of the RC44 teams. Official website: www.rc44.com

The best shots from the 2018 RC44 World Championship

RC44ClassAssociation video above published Sep 30, 2018: "From our editors at Icarus Sports all the best shots from the 2018 RC44 World Championship."

Day 4 RC44 World Championship 2018 - record third title for Team Nika

RC44ClassAssociation video above published Sep 30, 2018: Team Nika became the first team ever to claim a hat trick of RC44 World Championship titles after Vladimir Prosikhin, tactician Dean Barker and their crew managed to fend off Igor Lah's Team CEEREF on the final day of big conditions racing off Cascais. The two boats started the day with Team Nika five points ahead.

Day 3 RC44 World Championship - Team CEEREF on a charge at RC44 World Championship

RC44 Class Association video above published Sep 29, 2018: Another adrenalin-pumping, top of the range day off Cascais at the RC44 World Championship saw Igor Lah's Team CEEREF claim two bullets from three races, enabling the Slovenian team to stay in contact with Vladimir Prosikhin's ultra-consistent leader Team Nika.

Day 2 RC44 World Championship 2018 - New leader at the RC44 World Championship

RC44ClassAssociation video above published Sep 28, 2018: Day two of their 2018 World Championship will go down in RC44 history books with three races sailed in waves, and at the top of the wind range, forcing teams to break out their no3 headsails and small spinnakers. Racing got underway on time at 1300 when the wind was already in the mid-teens. Once again the right side of the race course, close to the shore, was paying massively, offering the triple win on the upwinds of tidal relief, flatter water and a favourable right shift.

Day 1 RC44 World Championship 2018 - Bronenosec's two bullet surprise

RC44 Class Association video above published Sep 27, 2018: Winning two out of today’s three races made Vladimir Liubomirov and Kirill Frolov’s Bronenosec Sailing Team the stand-out performer on day one of the RC44 World Championship. With winds starting at 12 knots and building into the high teens, plus flat water and shorts and T-shirt temperatures, Cascais laid on tourist board-approved conditions. However these only materialized mid-afternoon, after wise instructions to wait ashore by PRO Peter Reggio and the race management team from the Real Club Nautico de Cascais.

The World Championship, Cascais, is the fourth event of the 2018 RC44 Championship Tour which pits the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high-performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.

Day 4 RC44 Portoroz Cup - Remarkable come from behind victory for Team Aqua

RC44 Class Association video above published May 13, 2018: At the RC44 Portoroz Cup, it all came down to the final top mark rounding of the final race: Team CEEREF of local host Igor Lah picked up a penalty and, having to complete a mandatory turn, dropped her to last place. Meanwhile a second place in this race for Team Aqua allowed Chris Bake’s team to clinch victory overall by just one point from Team CEEREF on this Slovenian stop of the 2018 RC44 circuit, despite their having come last in today’s first two races. In fact the top four boats all finished within two points here, with Aleph Racing and Peninsula Petroleum putting in strong final day performances leaving them tied on points in third and fourth respectively. RC44 Calero Marinas Cup 2018, March 1-4 LIVE Feed & Video

The best of the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup 2018

RC44 Class Association video published Mar 4, 2018: Lanzarote has delivered outstanding winter racing for this year's RC44 Calero Marinas Cup. From 20+ knots of boat speed blasting downwind in training to champagne sailing in 15 knots for the final day.

Day 4 RC44 Calero Marinas Cup - Charisma secures victory as RC44 racing goes to the wire

RC44 Class Association video published Mar 4, 2018: Nico Poons’ Charisma proved today that there is a new player in town in the one design fleet, as they clung on to their lead from yesterday to win the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup, the opening event of the 2018 RC44 championship. But it came down to the last run of today’s last race when a final curved ball cut the Monaco-based team’s overall lead to just one point ahead of arch-rival, Team Nika.

After their outstanding Saturday, defending 2017 RC44 champions Igor Lah’s Team CEEREF were still in the groove and led today’s opening race from start to finish.

After posting a couple of deep results, Vladimir Prosikhin 's Team Nika was back on song for race two. The Russian team and John Bassadone’s Peninsula Petroleum opted early for the right on the first beat where they struck gold. The two boats were respectively first and second at the top mark, positions they maintained until the finish.

UPDATE Mar 4, 2018: Charisma held a five points advantage over Team Nika, with Artemis Racing a further three points back going into the final day of racing on Sunday. Charisma held on to win.the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup 2018 on Sunday, a well-deserved win for Nico Poons, Ray Davies and the entire crew after a week-long battle with Team Nika.

RC44 Calero Marinas Cup 2018 overall ranking
1. Charisma-36
2. Nika-37
3. CEEREF-40
4. Artemis-47
5. Aqua-55
6. Peninsula-58
7. Aleph-68

Next RC44 event: RC44 Portorož Cup, May 9-13, 2018.

Day 3 RC44 Calero Marinas Cup - Charisma strides ahead after challenging day

RC44 Class Association video published Mar 3, 2018: A North Atlantic cold front, threatening to wreak havoc over Lanzarote, provided Solent-like conditions for the opening race on day three of the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup, the first event of the 2018 RC44 championship. Fortunately, once the front had passed, the wind veered back into the south, the sun came out allowing all the teams to enjoy another memorable afternoon of racing.

Day 2 RC44 Calero Marinas Cup - Too close to call at the halfway stage in Lanzarote

RC44 Class Association video above published Mar 2, 2018: Lanzarote laid on superb conditions for day two of the RC44 Calero Marinas Cup under brilliant sunshine and winds that started in the sub-10 range before building solidly into the 20s, making for a spectacular action-packed third and final race.

Torbjörn Törnqvist’s Artemis Racing claimed the opening race after tactician Andy Horton correctly called the favourable left side of the course, just as he did in yesterday’s first race.

Conditions had built for race two which turned into a heavyweight bout between Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika and Nico Poons’ Charisma. Nika led around the first lap but Charisma had edged ahead by the end of the second beat and maintained their lead to the finish. Pundits noted that the match racing between the two boats may have been fuelled by some rivalry between the tacticians– former Emirates Team New Zealand skipper Dean Barker calling the shots on Team Nika and his former tactician Ray Davies in this position on Charisma.

Day 1 RC44 Calero Marinas Cup - Three races and three winners fire up 2018

RC44ClassAssociation video above published Mar 1, 2018: The opening day of the 2018 RC44 Calero Marinas Cup indicated firstly how close the season for the Russell Coutts-inspired one designs is set to be and how to win, it will be vital to make zero mistakes.

Three races saw three different winners. Torbjörn Törnqvist and Artemis Racing romped away to claim race one. Next up it was the turn of Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika to take race two. This left the sole Russian team now competing on the RC44 circuit ahead overall going into the final race. Sadly, while they were second at the first top mark rounding on the transom of John Bassadone’s Peninsula Petroleum, a ripped gennaker put paid to Team Nika’s chances and lost her the overall lead at the close of play on this opening day to Peninsula Petroleum.

Interview: Nico Poons and Ray Davies

RC44 Class Association video above published Mar 2, 2018: The key to success in the RC44 fleet is flawless crew work. Events - RC44 Class Association: "A decade since its launch the Tour will take on a new racing format for the 2017 season. RC44 Marstrand World Championship 2017 Aug 10-13 (video)

Day 4 RC44 Marstrand World Championship - Battleship Nika sweeps to victory

Video above published Aug 13, 2017: Team Nika have won the RC44 Marstrand World Championship after a dominant performance across the four days of competition. The final day delivered the strongest wind of the week, with the north-westerly breeze blowing at 15 knots and with a big, lumpy seaway. Vladimir Prosikhin may not have won any races today but he steered Nika to a comfortable victory overall, earning back the trophy he last raised in 2015.

The final race was a close battle for second and third. Team Ceeref, the 2016 World Champion, crossed in second place behind Artemis Racing. This was sufficient to secure second overall for Igor Lah from Slovenia. Behind him, Bronenosec's photo-finish ahead of Peninsula Petroleum was sufficient to put two Russian teams on equal points. On tie-break, Bronenosec beat Katusha for third place overall.

The RC44 Marstrand World Championship is the third event of the 2017 RC44 Championship Tour, which pits the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high-performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.

Day 3 RC44 Marstrand World Championship - Nika Unstoppable

Video above published Aug 13, 2017: A few boats had a good go at the front of the fleet on day three of the RC44 Marstrand World Championship, but none could match the consistency of Team Nika. Vladimir Prosikhin took the winner's gun in the first race of the day, sailed in 10 knots and lumpy seas. When the rain fell, it made little difference to his fortunes, following up with a second and fourth place. The Russian team has impressively taken a race win every day of the World Championship so far, putting them 15 points ahead. Nika's closest rivals struggled, opening up a big points gap to second place, now held by Bronenosec with Ceeref on equal points.

Day 2 RC44 Marstrand World Championship - Bronenosec's young guns hit their mark

Aug 11, 2017: Bronenosec Sailing showed some serious interest in the title after putting in some good scores on day two of the RC44 Marstrand World Championship. Vladimir Liubomirov steered the blue boat to victory in the first race of the day, sailed in about 8 to 10 knots of westerly wind. A sixth in the next race was not so special but Bronenosec surged into the lead of the third race of the day, only to let it slip to Artemis Racing on the final run to the finish.

Day 1 RC44 Marstrand World Championship - Things go right for Nika

Video above published Aug 10, 2017: Vladimir Prosikhin has steered Team Nika into the lead of the RC44 Marstrand World Championship after a solid opening day in Sweden. The Russian crew notched up scores of 2,6,1 in the nine-boat fleet to hold a two-point advantage over defending World Champion, Team Ceeref from Slovenia.

Day 4 RC44 Sotogrande Cup - Chris Bake grabs victory from jaws of defeat

Video above published Apr 30, 2017: After two severe days, Sotogrande and the Andalusian coastline laid on perfect conditions for the final day of competition at the RC44 Sotogrande Cup. Mountainous seas gave way to a short chop, torrential rain gave way to brilliant sunshine and a stiff but shifty 20 knot, westerly offshore wind, to provide the tacticians with some welcome head scratching. Despite this idyllic scenario for the crews and a tight leaderboard to resolve, today was formidably taxing for PRO Peter Reggio and team as the wind repeatedly shifted causing numerous general recalls. It also proved treacherous for the crews with numerous 'hero to zero' moments across the fleet. None was worse than that of Team Aqua. Having increased their lead to five points after the first race, Team Aqua were on track to consolidate their position in the second race until they caught a decent sized wave that buried the bow breaking the bowsprit. The crew rallied to fit a replacement just before the shut-off for the final race of the day. In this, amazingly, the three frontrunners were last to the weather mark. At the second weather mark rounding Team Aqua had recovered fourth place, which they hung on to the finish. winning them the RC44 Sotogrande Cup title while Peninsula Petroleum, which came home last, took second overall. Kirill Frolov, joint helmsman on Bronenosec Sailing Team rounded-up the Sotogrande Cup podium in third, a fine result considering it was their first regatta with an almost entirely new crew.

Day 3 RC44 Sotogrande Cup - Team Aqua takes control of RC44 Sotogrande Cup

Video above published Apr 29, 2017: Once again the wind was not the issue today but an initially massive sea state that had the nimble RC44s disappearing in the troughs up to their spreaders. To make matters harder the wind and the wave train weren't aligned with boats sailing along the giant waves on starboard tack and crashing directly into them on port. And then there was the torrential rain that made the decks extremely slippery and helped cause two man overboard incidents – both crew successfully recovered.

The day had three different winners with Russian Alexander Novoselov's Katusha for a second time winning the opening race of the day, while John Bassadone and his team of local heroes on board Peninsula Petroleum claimed race two and Bronenosec took today's third and final, marking a first ever race win in the RC44 for new co-helmsman Kirill Frolov, despite this only being his second day of racing in the class.

Day 2 RC44 Sotogrande Cup - Rain does not stay on the plain - Rain of Old Testament magnitude descended on Spain's Costa del Sol for day two of the RC44 Sotogrande Cup. While the wind was not excessive, the sea state decidedly was.

Day 1 RC44 Sotogrande Cup--Snakes and ladders on opening day of 2017 tour

Apr 27, 2017: The opening day of the RC44 season and the RC44 Sotogrande Cup proved extremely trying for PRO Peter Reggio and his race management team as they valiantly strove to keep the course orientated to the wind, an operation that required course changes on nearly every leg of all today's four races.

With the heavy guns out in the RC44 fleet, today's four races had four different winners with giant victories especially for Alexander Novoselov's Katusha in race one and the local heroes on John Bassadone's Gibraltar based team Peninsula Petroleum in race four. Team Nika ends the opening day two points clear of Chris Bake's Team Aqua in turn three points ahead of Bronenosec Sailing Team. The light blue RC44 was widely considered star performer today as all but three of her crew, including the helmsman are new to the fleet.

RC44 Fleet Racing: Massive win in Portsmouth for Nika, Sailing Videos

Fleet Racing Day 4 - Massive win in Portsmouth for Nika and golden wheels for Aqua:

Vladimir Prosikhin's Team Nika today scored one of the biggest wins in the one design keelboat class' recent history when she claimed the RC44 Portsmouth Cup by a massive 14 points. Published July 18, 2016

Team Nika started with a 12-point advantage in the 11 boat fleet, so had all but won the regatta before this. As tactician Ed Baird explained: "The only way we couldn't win was if Team Aqua won and we had a collision and got penalty points." Team Aqua took second place regaining the RC44 golden wheels as current Championship Tour leaders and Katusha took third.

Fleet Racing Day 1 - Team Nika finds order from chaos in Portsmouth

Fleet racing at the RC44 Portsmouth Cup began today on a new race course, laid further east beyond the Solent towards Hayling Bay. Despite this, conditions remained ultra-shifty, making for a challenging, high scoring day for all of the RC44 teams. Except Vladimir Prosikhin’s Team Nika. The defending RC44 fleet racing champion somehow managed to put in a consistent 1-3-3 score despite the chaotic conditions that forced tacticians to make the most of their local knowledge, skill, intuition or sheer crystal ball gazing ability to anticipate what would happen next. Published July 14, 2016

The RC44 Portsmouth Cup is the third event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts.

RC44 Portsmouth Cup, 13-17 July, Fleet Racing, Sailing Video

UPDATE RC44 Match Racing - Brononosec wins the day in Portsmouth but Nika takes the lead:

The eastern Solent threw up a magnificent opening day of competition for the RC44 Portsmouth Cup with the wind mostly blowing at 10 knots before building to 20+ ahead of a squall. Once this kicked in it provided the high speed thrills and spills for which the nimble one design RC44 keelboat is famous in these conditions.

The stand-out performance of the day was from Vladimir Liubomirov's Bronenosec which was unbeaten across the five races she sailed today. Igor Lah's Team CEEREF, the present RC44 fleet racing championship leader, had one of the best match racing days of her long career in the RC44 class, winning five of the seven races she sailed.

The RC44 Portsmouth Cup is the third event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts. Published July 13, 2016.

RC44 Class Association - RC44 Fleet racing:

Published on May 16, 2016: The RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande, Fleet racing day 4, had a worthy winner in Igor Lah and his Team CEEREF crew, the second occasion the Slovenian team has claimed this prize. But this was only after some anxious moments off the Andalusian port, as Lah's crew slogged it out with local heroes, John Bassadone's Peninsula Petroleum from nearby Gibraltar.

RC44 Portsmouth Cup 13-17 July 2016: "... a home-water advantage for five-time RC44 Championship Tour winner Team Aqua.  Owner Chris Bake, will be hoping to lead his team to a home victory this summer. The world famous and challenging waters of the Solent host some of the world’s most famous sailing events including, Cowes Week and the Round the Island Race. These waters will be a fantastic event for the class offering dynamic sailing at the UK event. "It’s great to have such a prestigious and high caliber event come to Portsmouth. We are delighted to be able to host the event from within our Team headquarters. Allowing us to share these outstanding facilities with like-minded individuals and we will enjoy having ringside seats to the action this RC44 event is sure to bring. It’s a pleasure to have you all here and good luck,"--Sir Ben Ainslie."

RC44 Sotogrande World Championship, 11-15 May, Sailing Videos

UPDATE: Fleet racing day 4 - Team CEEREF wins RC44 World Championship in two horse race:

The RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande had a worthy winner today in Igor Lah and his Team CEEREF crew, the second occasion the Slovenian team has claimed this prize. But this was only after some anxious moments off the Andalusian port, as Lah's crew slogged it out with local heroes, John Bassadone's Peninsula Petroleum from nearby Gibraltar. Published May 15, 2016

Fleet racing day 2 - Bassadone's Gibraltar greyhounds on the ascent:

For day three of the RC44 World Championship, Sotogrande laid on the conditions for which it is famous: brilliant sunshine, wind regularly over 20 knots, monster shifts, but surprisingly flat water in the lee of the Andalusian coast. Published on May 13, 2016

Fleet racing day 1 - Team CEEREF masters Atlantic winds:

After an awkward beginning to the regatta yesterday, the RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande fleet racing got underway, providing a reminder to helmsmen, tacticians and crew on all 11 yachts that this Andalusian venue lies just 25km from Gibraltar and the open Atlantic beyond.

Racing today was held in stiff 20+ knot winds that topped out at 27 knots, creating boat speeds of 20+ knots, plus a worthy test for crews. After race one, the fleet was ordered back to Sotogrande Marina when a giant grey cloud crossed the course, obscured the rock of Gibraltar, while emptying its contents upon the crews.

The 2016 RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande is the second event of the 2016 Championship Tour, which pitts the world's top businessmen and the best sailors in the industry compete in high performance one-design 44-foot carbon racing yachts. Published on May 12, 2016

RC44 Championship Tour Promo:
Since its launch in 2007, the RC44 Championship Tour has established itself as a key series to compete on in the international yacht racing circuit.

Match Racing - Squally Sotogrande stunts match racing day:

'The rain in Spain stays mainly on the plain', but for the opening day of match racing, prior to the start of the RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande fleet racing, the Andalusian port received an unseasonal, but thorough soaking. 25km away, Gibraltar was obscured by cloud, as the match racing, which rolls from regatta to regatta over the RC44's annual championship, only reached its second flight before there was a giant shift, the wind shut down completely and the boats were sent in. Published on May 11, 2016 - Fleet racing, counting towards the RC44 World Championship Marina de Sotogrande, begins tomorrow at 1130 CET and will run for four days.

Below--Highlights from the previous RC44 event--RC44 Bermuda Cup:

RC44 Bermuda Cup - Fleet Racing Day 3 - Team Nika's day in the sun
Despite near perfect conditions for racing on Bermuda’s Great Sound, the penultimate day of the RC44 Bermuda Cup was one of snakes and ladders, the smallest mistakes having crippling consequences. With a spectator fleet out in force, once again the course created some tactical head scratching with the left frequently favoured in terms of angle, but the right better for pressure. Other Sailing NEWS--Miami International Boat Show 2016 gets "mixed" reviews:
Two different boat shows--other than Strictly Sail Miami, Miamarina at Bayside-- take place during Presidents Day weekend in Miami and Miami Beach, Florida, Yachts Miami Beach and the Miami International Boat Show.

This year Yachts Miami Beach brought in more visitors and bigger boats during its run Feb. 11-15, organizers said Wednesday, according to the Sun Sentinel. Formerly known as the Yacht & Brokerage Show, Yachts Miami Beach attracted 5 percent more boats on display, including 22 yachts over 150 feet long — double the number from last year, according to Show Management, which co-owns the show with the Florida Yacht Brokers Association. In addition, hotel room nights specifically related to the show were up 2.24 percent over last year, with the average length of stay increasing to 4.42 nights.

The Miami International Boat Show, owned by the National Marine Manufacturers Association, took place at a new location this year on Virginia Key, and the reviews w ere "mixed" (see comment below). Reportedly "whether the show will return next year [to Virginia Key] won’t be known for weeks, and perhaps months."
"This was by far the worst [Miami International] boat show I have ever been. Website with wrong pick up areas (I went to America Airlines Arena pick up area and no one was there - I was told they didn't get the permit). I can't believe they didn't even paint the auditorium. It was so ugly and dirty, full of graffiti. Embarrassing. Lines were ridiculously long to get either the water taxi or the shuttles. No one could inform where the pick up or drop off are for uber was. Cops giving directions without knowing anything. And the cherry on top: the shuttle driver I got on the way back to the Arena was talking to the "voices in her head" the entire trip... I won't be back. Next year I'll go to the yacht show in Miami Beach only."--One comment in the Miami Herald
