News: Another exciting week at the America's Cup both on and off the water: "Last weekend saw big crowds to enjoy the racing at the America's Cup Park and also at the America's Cup Village at Marina Green, where the atmosphere was brightened by the AC Open. And the San Francisco Symphony brought the best of Tchaikovsky to the America's Cup Pavilion. On the race course, the Kiwis survived a scare when equipment failure meant they sailed much of Sunday's race without a headsail. But the story of the week really belonged to Artemis Racing, who launched and sailed their second AC72 this week. Big Blue went into the water on Monday. On Wednesday the team was out for its first sail and wasted no time in getting the beautiful blue machine up on its foils. On the Louis Vuitton Cup Round Robin leaderboard, Emirates Team New Zealand has an unassailable lead, with 7 points. The Kiwis will race Luna Rossa one more time, on Sunday, before they are expected to announce their intentions...As top team in the Round Robins, they can choose to advance straight to the Final, or pick an opponent to race in the semis, starting on August 6...."

Extreme Sailing Series Act 5 Porto HighlightsFor four days the Extreme Sailing Series world tour entertained the crowds in Porto, battling in the heart of the city on one of the most challenging Stadium Racecourses the fleet have ever sailed on. Eight teams including two wildcard entries ROFF Cascais Sailing Team and Team Tilt went head to head, and after 30 hard fought races it went right down to the final race to decide the winner. The Wave, Muscat accelerated off the start line while Alinghi found themselves stuck in the traffic jam and going nowhere - they could only watch as the Omani team sailed to victory.

A relentless The Wave, Muscat wins Act 5 in Porto » Extreme Sailing Series: "Act 5 of the Extreme Sailing Series™ in Porto has delivered the ultimate challenge in Stadium Racing for the eight international teams competing this week, with a narrow river, high walls, strong tides, big rocks and gusty winds to contend with. After 30 races it came down to the wire between The Wave, Muscat and Alinghi in the final double pointer with just three points separating two of the most experienced teams on the circuit. Impeccable boat handling from McMillan and a win in the final race – their tenth of the Act - ultimately saw the Omani flagged team claim a deserved win who have been unflappable this week having led the charge since race eight."
