GC32s to replace Extreme 40s | News: "The Extreme Sailing Series, the world’s leading Stadium Racing Series, will celebrate its tenth season in 2016 with the introduction of a fleet of foiling GC32 catamarans, which will see the world’s top sailors ‘flying’ in front of thousands of spectators at premium venues around the globe. The 2016 season will again feature a full grid of professional and brand-backed sponsored teams racing at iconic venues as diverse as Saint Petersburg, Cardiff and Sydney."

Sultanate of Oman to host first Act of the 2016 Extreme Sailing Series™ | News: Muscat in Oman is confirmed as the host city for the first Act of the year (16-19 March) - The action starts on Wednesday 16 March with coastal racing in front of Muscat’s Old Town before the teams commence battle in the Stadium on Thursday 17 March. The eighth and final team will be announced in the coming week to complete the starting grid. Fans around the globe can watch the racing live online on the official event website at the following times: Friday 18 March: 1600-1730 GMT+4 Saturday 19 March: 1530-1700 GMT+4
