2015 Bacardi Miami Sailing Week - Day 3 - Mar 5, 2015: Star Class competing for the Bacardi Cup trophy on Miami's Biscayne Bay, Coconut Grove.

2015 Bacardi Miami Sailing Week, Miami, Florida, USA, March 01-07, 2015: The 88th Bacardi Cup and the 6th BACARDI Miami Sailing Week (BMSW) presented by EFG Bank began on Monday, March 2, with the Bacardi Cup for the Star class; on Thursday March 5, for the J/70, Viper 640, VX One and M32 classes. 173 boats with competitors from 15 foreign nations traveled to Miami to compete for the BMSW title for 2015.

Missing yacht debris washes ashore - national | Stuff.co.nz: "Debris from a yacht missing off New Zealand's south coast for two weeks with three people on board has been found, police say. A shore search is now under way for any further sign of the missing skipper and two passengers, or the yacht.  Southland area commander Inspector Lane Todd said a life raft and squab belonging to the missing yacht, Munetra, had been found by fishermen on Stewart Island and on the Southland coast. There had been no trace 7.5-metre Munetra and or the yacht's 33-year-old German skipper, Andre Kinzler and German tourists Lea Tietz,19, and Veronika Steudler, 19 since it left Bluff for Preservation Inlet in Fiordland on April 16...."

Bluff Marine Radio operator Meri Leask, who may have been the last person to have contact with the skipper of the 7.5-metre Munetra on April 16, said he ''was not a communicator''. The skipper sailing with two females, believed to be foreign tourists, also only had a hand held radio when he left Bluff in rough conditions, she said. The Munetra left Bluff headed for Preservation Inlet at the southwest of the South Island and has not been spotted or heard from since its departure...."
