Extreme Sailing Series heads to Singapore for Act 2


London 2012 silver medal winning skipper Peter Burling on the shift to Extreme 40s - Since winning a silver medal for New Zealand at the London 2012 Olympic Games, Peter Burling has been riding on a whirlwind - first skippering Team Korea in the America's Cup World Series before making his Extreme 40 debut in Muscat Oman.

Extreme Sailing Series heads to the Far East for Act 2, Singapore » Extreme Sailing Series: "The public is expected to be out in force during the public event days (12-14 April) supporting Singaporean sailors Scott Glen Sydney and Justin Wong onboard invitational entry Team Aberdeen Singapore. Sailing’s international superstar Robert Greenhalgh, winner of the first ever Extreme Sailing Series will take the helm and speaking about the competition said: “There are many more competitive teams now than when I first sailed an Extreme 40. For sure The Wave, Muscat and Red Bull Sailing Team are the ones to beat I think, but the final podium spot is up for grabs possibly. I think this event will be even closer at the top then in Muscat with more teams fighting for the podium."
