News from VendeeGlobe.org - Le Cléac’h vents frustration at complex final week, 10 Jan 2017: "Vendée Globe leader Armel Le Cléac’h today spoke of his frustration as erratic weather in the North Atlantic complicates his path to the finish line. At the latest position update the Frenchman had a narrow lead of 99 miles over British rival Alex Thomson as the pair forged their way north, around 350 miles south west of the Cape Verde Islands ..."
Vendee Globe Update: In the Vendee Globe 2016-17 solo non-stop round-the-world sailing race, Armel Le Cleac'h on BANQUE POPULAIRE VIII (1st) and Alex Thomson on HUGO BOSS (2nd) are currently in the front of the fleet heading north in the Atlantic Ocean towards the finish at Les Sables d'Olonne, France.
