Hosted by the Cardiff Harbour festival, thousands came to watch eight teams with some of the worlds best sailors battle in the heart of Cardiff Bay, including two brand new teams, Team Wales Land Rover and ChinaSpirit. Sailing in the heart of a city famous for its sport, even stars of Welsh rugby came to see what the fuss was about as British and Irish Lions captain Sam Warburton traded the pitch for the water for a ride on an Extreme 40.
