Honolulu sailboat bound for Long Beach still missing - Press-Telegram: "The Coast Guard in Honolulu is still trying to get information from anyone who may have seen the missing 44-foot sailboat "Siesta." The agency put out a plea for help Saturday in locating the vessel that has missed its scheduled radio contacts . . . The Coast Guard put out a bulletin asking California mariners if they have seen it to contact the Honolulu Command Center. Nothing so far, he said. The "Siesta" is described as a 44-foot white and blue vessel, captained by a man named Curtis Collins. Anyone who spots it, or makes radio contact, is asked to notify Coast Guard Sector Honolulu at (808) 535-3230." UPDATE--The Coast Guard says a sailing vessel that wasn't heard from for more than a day has been located about 500 miles northeast of Honolulu.
