Extreme Sailing Series heads to Rio de Janeiro for 2012 final showdown - The Extreme 40s are preparing to head into the final battle of 2012 in the spectacular city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil -- the same city that will also be hosting the FIFA World Cup Final in 2014 and the 2016 Olympic Games. Team Brasil will be representing the home nation as a wildcard entry making it nine Extreme 40s on the startline with renowned sailor and Brazil's most successful Olympian Torben Grael, leading the team as skipper. For the eight established Extreme 40 teams, the stakes are high with four teams capable of lifting the 2012 Extreme Sailing Series overall trophy, and no one wants to go home empty handed. Watch all the action live from the 7th-9th December.
